    More than 60 CSEA activists and other supporters demonstrated Thursday, May 17, outside State Sen. David Carlucci's district office in Nanuet in Rockland County to protest the senator's refusal to support legislation that would aid county finances and save services and jobs.

    The message addresses Truth and Consequences in the Executive budget - a serious lack of transparency and consolidation of authority by the governor without any opportunity for public input or legislative oversight.
